Ghazzali E Zaman answers an objection placed on his chain to Imam Bukhari

During Ghazzali e Zamans time as Shaykh Ul Hadith in Jamia Islamia Bahawalpur rumours circulated about his Sanad being incomplete due to a missing link.

This was due to people stating that Shah Ahmad Saeed Mujaddidi Dehalwi (one of the shuyukh in his chain) didn’t receive Ijazah from Shah Abdul Aziz Dehalwi.

They would state that Shah Ahmad Saeed Mujaddidi Dehalwi heard Hadith from his father Shah Abu Saeed Dehalwi (they state he was omitted from the chain) and he has Ijazah from Shah Abdul Aziz Dehalwi, thus stating without Shah Abu Saeed Dehalwi the Sanad is incomplete and shorter.

Ghazzali E Zaman in response to this accusation presented the following text from ‘Nuzhat al-Khawatir’ of Abdul Hayy al-Hassani Nadwi:

و حصلت له الاجازة من الشيخ عبد العزيز المذكور الصحاح الست و الحصن الحصين و دلائل الخيرات و القول الجميل و غيرها

Shah Ahmad Saeed Mujaddidi Dehalwi received permission from Shaykh Abdul Aziz namely in the six books, Hisn al-Hasin, Dalail al-Khayrat, al-Qawl al-Jamil and others.

Upon receiving the reply of Ghazzali E Zaman the opposition was unable to reply. Ghazzali E Zaman has various routes to Imam Bukhari, I have listed one below.
